insights: some insight snapshots seem to be persisting too long

Some insights on k8s seem to be persisting every snapshot, and it makes the chart very messy (not to mention other clear problems with the data). All of the ones I see so far that seem to have this problem have the streaming search enabled, so perhaps somehow this is affecting snapshots in a bad way.
