Reference Panel: Inconsistent behaviour in search-based go to definition

Problem

When clicking on a definition in a file with search-based code nav, the panel expands Definitions inconsistently. See example below, where for one definition the ref panel shows Definitions expanded by default, while in the second case they are collapsed by default.
