Icons in button produce an additional 2 pixel left margin

Buttons with icons appear to have a larger left margin than right margin due to the 2px of padding each icon has between the edge of the viewport and the icon vector.
Reducing the button icon left margin by 2 pixels would on the whole solve this issue. Note that a small number of icons do not respect this boundary. For those icons the right margin would look larger than the left.
