Lost when searching on fork

Current Behaviour

As a new user (or a recurring user that has forgottent about forks:yes), when I want to search on a fork I get "no results". It takes time to understand what the problem is. There is a “repositories not included” indication, but it’s hard to find. My attention is 100% on the blue “no results” signifier, but it does not help me!

Observed in a UX interview: even frequent users forget about fork!

Proposed Behaviour Instead of seeing only "No results", I see what action I should take next to extend the scope.
