Feature Request: track backwards through commits

Feature request description

A customer would like the ability to track backwards through git commits on a file. They noticed the Git-extras extension provides blame info for a file and were hoping it would be possible to use the extension to track backwards to previous instances of the file.

I suggested the use of the history tab, but that doesn't scope to a specific file.
