Provide service account users for API access

oh one final question is there a way to have a service account token that can be used by this for the api so it is not tied to a specific user? asking to make sure things like someone leaving the company does not break it

I replied:

no unfortunately I don’t think we do. However, it is possible to to create “fake” or bot users (e.g. go to Site-admin > Users and click “New user”). They will not be able to sign in at all without being in your SSO. But, as an admin, you can then visit their user page (Site-admin > Users and search for them), click on Settings, then Access Tokens, and you can create one there. I believe these should work.

ok, and that makes a billable user, so just was checking

So ideally this would exist without it being a billable user.
