TS references are slow (due to waiting for cross-repo refs?)

Trying to find references on ThemableDecorationInstanceRenderOptions at https://sourcegraph.com/github.com/Microsoft/vscode/-/blob/src/vs/vscode.d.ts#L1068:10&tab=references is slow. It hasn't returned yet even after about 90 seconds.

I see it logged Searching for dependents of code-oss-dev through npm 2x. It would be nice if it emitted local references first (which can probably be found more quickly).
